Adventure Trips
We offer 4x4 rides up to nearby Fimmvörðuháls, where the 2010 volcanic eruption took place.
From there is a magnificent descent on foot into Þórsmörk,
a forested valley surrounded by Tindafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers.
Rides from Skógar to Þórsmörk are also available.
Upon arrival in Þórsmörk we can offer barbecue/grill for tired adventurers.
We also have shorter trips down to the Skógarsandur desert, with black beaches stretching into the distance.
Also our Land Rover is available for rent for exploring the area.
The Land Rover Defender we use has been modified for driving in all conditions,
as well as crossing glacial rivers.
Our drivers have experience with driving in every weather the arctic has to offer,
and are familiar with the landscape and its history.
